SoftPAW™ Performance Stands are custom patented stands that were created to support the Nigerian Clay Side Hole Pot Drum, Globally known as the Udu Drum. These stands were originally created to support Frank Giorgini's Handmade and his casted Claytone® line of Udus which are now available through LP Music. I have been away from manufacturing these stands for a few years due to a licensing agreement that I was under contract for. But I have since taken them back and am now getting geared up once again after a shop overhaul. Interested in ordering please contact me at uduboy@uduboy.com. These are devices that are readily available at your local music retailer and are a personal preference of the player. The SoftPAW Performance Stand that you are ordering is the Holder for the Udu Only.

Tiered Udu SoftPAW: This SoftPaw is available for all Tiered Shaped Udu Drums i.e. Frank Giorgini’s #1 (Soprano), #2 (Alto), #3 (Tenor), #4 (Baritone) as well as for the Mbwata Udu Drum. A similar shaped SoftPAW is available for the Udu Kim Kim but it will have the added benefit of being able to be positioned so that the Kim Kim can be played Horizontally as well as simply resting in the Vertical position to be easily removed for a more traditional playing method

Tambuta Udu SoftPAW: This SoftPAW is designed to be mounted within the fingers of a center pulled snare stand. Within a Snare Stand you can hook Neck Chamber under ring allowing main body to rest on the top of ring. Using it on a flat surface makes a nice way for any round bottom Udu to be stable

Hadgini Udu SoftPAW: This SoftPAW is designed to be mounted with any number of different multi-clamps so that it’s position is more Vertical. You can set this up either on a Cymbal or Tom Floor Stand as well as a Rack System. With the support attachment for under the center section, you will need a few multi-clamps; one to secure “C” shaped Main Frame positioned Horizontally to Floor Stand or Rack, as well as one to secure support attachment to stabilize the center section of the Hadgini
