Day 3: in Ghana - Zorkie Nelson's Childhood Village of Bukom Zorkie's Family Ancestorial House: Brazil House Miss Rose D Foundation Orphanage
Full day. We had time to decompress a bit and talk about our experiences so far. Absolutely amazing.
Our Lunch Today: FuFu (a delicious doughy bread and soup with Chicken, Salmon, and Beef. I could bath in this broth (just say'n). Just the right amount of spice without knocking you over. Our housemother is being very kind. Taking care of us and preparing incredibly delicious traditional Ghanaian cuisine. Her name Miss Couse. Mama through and through.
Today we visited Zorkie Nelson's childhood home of Bukom. Talk about a rock'n port village. Wow! Boots on the ground literally. Felt honored to meet his brothers and sisters as well as three elders of his family. We visited his home and his grandparents home.
